Mango -- Mangifera Indica
The fruit's shape is like that of a full bodied oval ranging from 12 to 15 cms. in length and weighing about 1.8 kg. The skin is smooth, fairly thick and richly and pleasantly aromatic. Its coloring ranges from light-or dark-green (when unripe) to yellow-orange, and reddish-pink (when fully ripe). The flesh ranges from pale-yellow to deep-orange. It is essentially peach-like but much more fibrous and is extremely juicy, with a flavor range from very sweet to subaci.
