Cactus Figs--Opuntia Ficus-Indica
The fruit's skin color is dark orange when ripe and is covered with sharp and thin spines. It is thick and full of water to protect the pulp inside. The pulp has a flowery, explosive taste (sometimes compared to that of a watermelon) and has a firm consistency. Small black oblong seeds riddle the pulp but add no flavor to it.
